Ah! I love how squashy and huggable he is, even if he does look like he's probably a smelly guy. His expression is so friendly. Love it, David!
I also wanted to direct you at the website of a young artist I've been following/admiring lately named Nicholas Kole who does daily drawing prompts and talks a lot about his process (top card ideas versus the ones that actually dig deeper and stuff) here http://nicholaskole.blogspot.com/ . His style reminds me a it of yours, and has been a huge inspiration on my own work.
