San Diego Comic Con 2008

Well....so much anticipation and just like that....poof!!! its gone. Thank you to all of you who came out and said hello to me, introduced yourself, and expressed your affinity for my work. I also appreciate those of you who told me off....that always helps...ha ha ..j/k. Anyway, great meeting new people, seeing old friends and just getting more inspiration from those I already know and from those I had met for the first time. Thank you to my neighbor Mr.Stephen Silver and John Q to my other side...for helping me out during those pee breaks...and of course..my life savor..Heidi Silver!!! thanx alot for so much!!! I am happy my wife, Susan, made it down even if just for Sunday. I hate being away from her. Too many bros to mention, from Joe and Octavio to Patty and Ed...... Here are some commissions I did for fans while @ the con....I always enjoy doing these. I'll upload more shortly

San Diego Comic Con

Well...its here...quicker then we all think. I will be there, as always, along side my friend Stephen Silver, @ booth H05(thats booth H-5 listed under Davids Doodles-David Colman)My new sketchbook wont be out until Wondercon....however my new T-shirt line will be displayed and 4 new designs will be debuted @ San diego this year.... I am very proud of the quality.....so stop on by and say "hi"

Class Demo_Construction

Here is a demo/handout I did for a class I will be teaching @LAAFA li>Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art starting August 2.It is an animal design class in which we will splitting our time between the LA Zoo and in class sessions. Where I will be teaching how to use the zoo studies in the craft of character design.

African Safari Honeymoon...we are back

To say our honeymoon in Africa was amazing is an understatement. To experience nature @ that level is a blessing beyond our imagination. I could write forever discussing our trip, the animals we saw,the people we met, the experiences we had.....but I will just post a few pics and journal entries here and there over next few posts....enjoy..I have many images to post....so over time you will see most of them
