While working here @Disney Feature I kept seeing this guy stroll by my desk...after a few times I just had to do a quick sketch of this character...he was a great subject. After I had done this sketch someone saw it and said "Hey, that's a great drawing of Eric Goldberg." What...thats Eric Goldberg...yes...one of the greatest animators living today...wow...just never knew what he looked like....now I do....

That looks nothing like me. It could be any overweight guy with a mustache and glasses. It's still a good caricature though. Congrats!

HA HA!!! I did have the chance to breifly work with him on some of the Aladdin Special Edition. I couldn't believe how joyful he was . . .always laughing and smiling . . . you nailed it Davie. Great sketch!!!!

Those flies are the spitting image of the ones I usually see swarming around butts, very accurate. Good job!

There is only one Goldbert and its me... I'm the deal! For the record that is not a drawing, it is an actual photo of me, although I think he added the flies in photoshop.
just found your blog, love the fingers, awesome sketch.
I dunno ... it's a pretty nice little drawing I guess , but I don't see it as Eric . If I had seen this drawing without being told it was supposed to be Eric Goldberg I wouldn't have made the connection .
(of course , I can't draw caricatures worth beans, so what do I know ... )
