Recently working on a development project for a friend I did this in the margin of my screen while watching a wild life DVD

Ya, definetly can't wait for the book.

Awesome sketch - Photoshop? Sketchbook?

Really loose - great shapes!

YES! Love these kinds of sketches...loose, lots of movement, great gesture, nice lines, good character...everything. Hoping to see tons more of this kind of stuff.

Whoah, very nice ...

On the corner of your screen? Are you sketching with a tablet? What software are you using, if I may ask?

Great lumpy giraffe design! It inspires me to do some more animal studies.
