I always try different mediums and approaches w/my work. It keeps me fresh and excited @ the same time adding to my repertoire(hopefully) Plenty of times it ends up in failure, but sometimes I find myself coming across a happy accident. This was the first time I had drawn on the cardboard backing of a notepad in attempt to add a new approach to my work...... I hope you enjoy the result, I did too, @ least temporarily.

very cool, love the perspective on that cat.
Gorgeous!
Awesome! I especially like the way you deal with the fluidity of the feline line...
Is that colored pencil? It looks awesome!
Hey David,
Wow, that's great! Very nice use of space and awesome design. Nothing better than trying out new mediums, that'll keep you from getting stuck and who knows what you might discover:)
I bought the "Art of Open Season" book yesterday and it's delicious! So many cool designs and stuff to get inspired from. I saw a few of your designs in it as well, great contributions!
